Announcing Jam Candy Session Two

October 31, 2022

With Session One on the books, it’s time to move on to Session Two!

We’ll be filming Session Two on Wednesday, November 16th and Thursday November 17th.

Night One will be a little different than anything we shot in Session One. We’ll have a string band led by Nate LaPointe featuring virtuoso violinist Chris Murphy and including Cubensis’s Ed Fletcher on Drums and Alex Balderson on stand up Bass. Barley vocalist Jay Constable will be joining night one as well.

Night two features a “Make Good” by Brian Warren who unfortunately had to postpone his appearance in Session One and had Kevin Sousa stand in. He’ll be joined on mic by the amazing Lindsey Harper and backed by some serious instrumental firepower led as always by Nate LaPointe and Steve Aguilar, and supported by Mick Linden on bass and Bryon Holley on drums.

Night One (Wednesday, 11/16)

Chris Murphy

Chris Murphy is an American musician, violinist, bandleader, and composer who has been composing and performing music for over 30 years. He is a frequent collaborator with Nate LaPointe and Cubensis, and can be heard on over 500 albums, the Ellen Degeneres show, and in performances in over 40 states, plus England, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

Jay Constable

Jay Constable is found on stages and festivals all over South Bay Los Angeles. You’ll see him most frequently as a lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and occasionally on bass for South Bay mainstay Barley as well as one of the group’s principal songwriters.

Night Two (Thursday, 11/17)

Lindsey Harper

Lindsey Harper has toured internationally with pop superstar Selena Gomez and is even featured on one of her albums. She’s made television appearances on awards shows, Good Morning America, and Jimmy Fallon.  She’s shared the stage with stars such as Michele Bublé, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, and Adam Lambert, among many others.

Brian Warren

Brian Warren has impeccable Jam Band credentials, fronting classic South Bay Los Angeles mainstay Electric Blue along with Prog Rock giants What On Earth and the new Jam Band centered Festival Express currently playing shows in LA and the OC.
